That something something: An adventure in Gapo <3 <3
Never in my whole life I have felt this kind of feeling. Hmm.. You know what? First time kong magpunta ng Olongapo ng hindi gumagamit ng private car. First time ko ring bumili ng ticket… Waah nkakaamaze. May koreano pa nga eh. Tapos nag stop over kami sa may DAU. May mga vendor dun na nagakyatan. may isang vendor dun mukha talagang UTAW(machong lalaki) tapos biglang sumigaw “AAY may mga Jun Pyo!”. Tsk Tsk. Tapos napansin namin yung katagang “Holy Land”.
Amp! ang gulo no?
nagtagal kami un ng 4 araw. Naswimming kami doon, nakipaglaro sa makukulit pero mababait na pamangkin, nagvideoke, nanood ng cinderella at little mermaid, nakipagbonding sa mga pinsan, took pictures together and so on.
You know that awkward moment na nagpipicture picture kayo sa sasakyan then sasabihin ng pamangkin mo na “bakit kayo nagpipicture dito sa kotse wala naman kayo sa bahay.” Waah. Poker face kami.
Sikat yun!
Ayun, The hardest part is when I needed to bid Goodbye to them.
Just now I realized naramdaman ko na pala yung something na yun. That something something when you set your foot the land of olongapo.
So now go and find that something. ;)
Pygmy Sea Horse
One of the world’s smallest seahorses, the Pygmy Seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), is no bigger than your pinky finger. These tiny animals are masters of disguise, using a strategy of blending into their surrounding environment to survive.

My little writer heart is beating so fast.
My heart is fragile.
It cries over the villain
and breaks with every
stolen innocence.
Maybe that is why
my heart is still alone.
The slightest brush
of fingers
and it may burst
into flames.
I just did a little test with something called ‘anamorphic typography’. Essentially, it is an illusion where the type looks just right when viewed from the exact right spot, but it looks stretch and warped when viewed from elsewhere in the room. We might be doing something similar in a HOLLY HUNT showrooms later this year, so I did this in a room above my parents’ garage to make sure I could pull it off when the time comes. For what it is worth, I certainly didn’t invent this sort of thing, and I’d like to give lots of credit to this project by Joseph Egan and Hunter Thompson for tipping me off to the idea, as well as the artist Felice Varini, who is doing this sort of thing on a much larger and much more impressive scale.
